Flag With Rope And Toggle

Push the toggle through the loop that was made in the halyard and make sure it is secure.

Feed the loop through the eye of the snap hook. Stretch the flag down the rope to measure where the bottom snap hook should be placed. If you are flying the union jack flag it is important that your display it the correct way up. The small loop will grow tighter with each pull of the halyard.

The flag should form part of a continuous loop with the halyard rope on the flagpole. Pull the hook part through the loop and tighten the rope to the body of the hook. On a flag with a rope and toggle the toggle is usually on the top of the flag tie the rope from the bottom of the flag to the other end of the halyard. If the flag is fitted with a toggle this will normally be fitted at the top of the flag.

When looking at the front of the flag the flag should facing to the right of the flagpole. 1 2 cm end diameter. Attach your snap hook to the halyard by making a loop in the rope. You want to create an endless length of halyard.

5 7 cm center width. The flag should be attached to its left hand side with a heading line and toggle.
