Fitbit Alta Hr Green Lights Always On

It was a gift so i do not know if they replace it hopefully they do.

Fitbit alta hr green lights always on.

This is draining the battery within 12 hours. I have tried to sync it three times with the setting for the hr switched to off or on auto but neither makes a difference. My alta hr has a solid green light whether i am wearing it or not. It is my hope that an update is released soon to correct this issue.

Waiting now for response from support. Any advice would be appreciated. I have been reading your help fourms and i see that the blinking green light is a issue with a few fitbit products. I have had this fitbit since may and until 2 days ago the green light would turn off when not being worn.

Setting heart rate to off and sync after does not help. I have the same problem with my alta hr. It is still on at night because it will track your sleep better. I have turned off the heart rate option and the green light remains solid.

The green light on the back of the device keeps flickering i would like the option to turn this off its a bit distracting knowing it is there. My alta rebooted but the lights are staying on. I am having the same issue. Cd2017 welcome to the fitbit community i hope you re doing well.

Restart does not help. Ensure the always connected option in the fitbit app is on. I have attempted to reset the fitbit with no resolution. Green lights are constantly on.

Remove the flex 2 from the charging cable. Like usaf larry said the green lights are part of the heart rate sensor and will be on all the time if you have the on setting for the hr. Battery troubleshooting shouldn t be the area to look. I tried many times.

Some help suggests to turn off the heart rate monitoring. I have had it switched o. The green sensor lights never go off whether i am wearing my fitbit or not. I got my charge hr one week ago or so have been using it almost 24 7 and am quite happy with it despite a few quirks the device totally crashed once after i synced it with my iphone and the only way to revive it was to plug in that damn proprietary cable.

Now it s on constantly and drains the battery. I have rebooted my device by plugging it into the charger and tapping the button on the cord 3 times. The lights will begin flashing simultaneously. Thr solid green light is very disruptive to my sleep.

And yes i have reset the fitbit hr several times and having no affect. The green lights on my alta hr are on constantly. It looses charge in less than 24 hours. It s recommended to wear it tightly but not too tight but if you want to turn it off you can go to fitbit your watch top right heart rate an.

The light is the heart rate sensor.
